Part-Time Speech Pathologist Assistant
Texas Leadership Charter Academy is seeking a speech pathology assistant. Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university. A valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiner for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA) is required.
The Speech Language Pathology Assistant will work under the supervision of an SLP to implement instructional strategies to students with speech, voice, fluency, or language disorders. Provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.
Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, rehabilitation of speech-language disorders and conditions, ability to instruct and manage student behavior, and strong organizational, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are a must.
Texas Leadership Charter Academy is seeking dynamic Substitute Teachers to assist our District in various roles, as needed. Responsibilities include adhering to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher. Follow procedures and achieve lesson goals. Explain, and assign homework, and oversee students outside of the classroom including in the hallways and cafeteria.
TLCA Arlington is seeking full-time maintenance personnel. This position is responsible for the daily repairs of various items (doors, locks, furniture, drains, etc.) at the school as well as other emergency situations, which may occur at any of our TLCA district facilities. This position includes heavy lifting as well as carrying, pushing and pulling heavy objects.
