TLCA-Abilene is seeking bus drivers. Valid and current Texas CDL with a school bus endorsement is required.

Custodial Staff

Full-time custodial positions are open at TLCA-Abilene.  Custodians are responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of facilities.

Maintenance Staff 

A full-time maintenance position is open at TLCA-Abilene.  Maintenance personnel are responsible for the daily repairs of various items (doors,locks,furniture,drains etc) at the school as well as other emergency situations, which may occur at any of our TLCA district facilities.   This position includes heavy lifting as well as carrying, pushing and pulling heavy objects.

Administration
TLCA Administration in San Angelo is seeking a District PEIMS Director.  This position oversees all Campus PEIMS Operators and Student Registration and is responsible for completing and submitting all annual PEIMS submissions required by TEA as well as six weeks' reports for each campus.  The position is also responsible for WebSmart software supports regarding all student applications and teacher's gradebooks.
 
It is TLCA's goal to fill this position by April 1st, the first day of open enrollment.

Arlington 
 Speech Language Pathologist 

 

We are looking for a speech language pathologist with the primary purpose of providing therapy and instructional strategies for students who exhibit communication disorders in the areas of language, articulation, fluency, voice, cognition, and pragmatics.  Educational success is our desire.  

 

Qualifications: Education/Certification

Diagnostician

 

TLCA-Arlington is seeking a diagnostician to evaluate students referred for special education services for their educational learning styles and program needs, supply diagnostic data, and collaborate with instructional personnel to assure the most effective program for students with disabilities.

 

Pay is dependent on experience.  You must posses a Masters in Education as well as a Texas certification for Educational Diagnostician.

San Angelo 
  

Teacher's Aide (with possible coaching duties)

 

TLCA-San Angelo will have an opening for a teacher's aide at the junior high school in January 2018.  The position is responsible for two PE classes and there may be an opportunity to coach varsity baseball as well.  Pay begins at $17,000.00 per year and coaching would bring additional income.

San Angelo Operations 

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the TLCA-San Angelo maintenance staff to include determining work priorities and assignments.  The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for all aspects of training maintenance staff in work-related and safety-related themes.  The Maintenance Supervisor must also play a role in the upkeep and safety of the facilities which the maintenance staff is responsible for.
