This past week Governor Abbott’s office released information that the requirement for mandatory face coverings in the State of Texas will be lifted, effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has left the decision regarding what school districts will do to individual School Boards.
After much consideration and seeking guidance from local health authorities and the CDC, the School Board at Texas Leadership Public Schools has made the decision to continue all current COVID-19 protocols. Please keep in mind that these could be amended or rescinded by the School Board or District Leadership in the future.
The health and safety of our students, staff and families is vitally important and we are thankful for the team effort from our Eagle family as we have walked out this year.
