Child Nutrition
Welcome To The Child Nutrition & Family Resources!
Texas Leadership with their partner, Elior K12 is proud to provide a TWO entrée option menu with even more FRESH fruits and vegetables. Students will be allowed a second portion of fruits or vegetables, free of charge with a purchased meal. Throughout the year students will have the opportunity to participate in taste testing and vote on new menu items for their campus.
Texas Leadership Public Schools is dedicated to providing the most nutritionally sound meals possible for our students. We acknowledge the importance of student nutrition and fitness and the role it plays in everyday student academic success. All meals are kid-tested and approved and also meet state and federal dietary guidelines.

Annual Application Requirement for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals
Texas Leadership Public Schools serves families in San Angelo, Midland, Abilene, Cedar Hill, and Arlington, Texas.
Starting in August 2024, Texas Leadership Public Schools will begin distributing letters and applications to the households of children in the District about eligibility benefits. Families are encouraged to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals online. The process is SAFE, SECURE, PRIVATE, and AVAILABLE anytime, anywhere! It is available at https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application . Paper applications are also available at all appropriate campus administrative offices.
The application will determine a child’s eligibility for free and reduced-price meals and may assist in the determination of eligibility for other state or federal benefits. Only one application needs to be completed per household. Please include all members who reside in the household on one application. Schools will notify the household of the child’s eligibility. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) administers school nutrition programs in Texas and offers an eligibility calculator at www.SquareMeals.org/ProgramEligibility.
Decisions regarding payment for school meals are made at the national-government level, not by the school nutrition team or TDA. The dedicated staff at Texas Leadership Public Schools is looking forward to serving healthy, balanced meals to students in the new school year. These meals, whether paid, free, or reduced-price, offer a good source of nutrition for children.
For new and transferring students, please be aware that eligibility statuses do not automatically transfer from previous schools and a new application must be submitted to Texas Leadership.
*Applications must be submitted annually for all students.
