Elementary Guidance Counselor

TLCA Midland is seeking an elementary guidance counselor. The guidance counselor will work with school faculty and staff, students, parents, and the community to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling program at school assigned. The counselor will provide guidance and counseling services conducive to all students achieving their individual potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Candidate must have a Master’s degree in guidance counseling, a valid Texas counseling certificate, and a minimum of two years of teaching experience.

Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist
Texas Leadership Charter Academy is seeking a part-time speech-language pathologist. The speech pathologist will plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program. Applicant must have a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university. A valid license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate is required.

Special Education Teacher
TLCA Midland is seeking a Special Education teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. The Special Education teacher will provide those served by special education and related services with learning activities and experiences based on enrolled grade-level standards that are designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Implement or modify and implement the curriculum, prepare lessons, and instructional materials appropriate to individual student’s present levels of academic achievement and functional performance. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree, Special Education certification, and teaching area certification as appropriate for assignment.

Maintenance Staff


A full-time maintenance position is open at TLCA Midland. Maintenance personnel are responsible for the daily repairs of various items (doors, locks, furniture, drains, etc) at the school as well as other emergency situations, which may occur at any of our TLCA district facilities. This position includes heavy lifting as well as carrying, pushing and pulling heavy objects.


Pay begins at $15.00 per hour. Benefits such as health insurance and a TRS retirement are available.

Custodial Staff

TLCA Midland is accepting applications for full-time custodians. Custodians are responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of facilities.

Teacher's Aide

Tutors assist, and encourage students in the learning processes. These professionals also review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answer questions of the student regarding that topic.
